The OB‑2AT takes the classic Bowtie design and adds a special Archtop tone ring for a focused, clear, and balanced mid-range sound. By slightly raising the head, the Archtop design softens harsh high frequencies while keeping the tone vibrant and articulate. The result is a satiny, expressive voice that sounds great both near the bridge and across the fretboard.
Built for serious Bluegrass and traditional players, the OB‑2AT features a mahogany neck with ebony fingerboard, tasteful Gold Tone Bowtie inlays, and a two-way adjustable truss rod for smooth, reliable playability. Its 11" Remo coated head and 14" mahogany resonator pair perfectly with the 11" Archtop bell brass tone ring, delivering projection, clarity, and classic resonator punch.
Premium features include Gotoh planetary tuners, a Presto-style tailpiece, a 5/8" Dotson bridge, dual coordinator rods, and nickel-plated hardware. Finished in Golden Sunburst with cream binding, the OB‑2AT combines vintage looks with modern precision.
Expertly set up in Titusville, Florida, each banjo ships stage-ready with a hard shell case, and an optional HPB bag is available. Left-handed models are available.
